Aleksa Lawry began dancing at the age of 5 at Wilkerson Dance Studio in Greenfield, IN. She fell in love with dancing there, and went on to graduate summa cum laude with honors in dance from Anderson University in Anderson, IN with a Bachelor’s degree in Dance Pedagogy and Writing under the instruction of Christine Colquitt-Thacker, Erich Yetter, and Rachel Stoneking. Aleksa has attended intensives with Dance Kaleidoscope and Ballet 5:8, as well as multiple masterclasses by Indy Ballet, Deeply Rooted Dance Theatre, Melissa Schott of Steps on Broadway, and Inlet Dance Theatre. She has performed with Radiance Dance Company and Collide Theatrical Dance Company, and has performed in multiple musicals and film projects. She loves to teach, choreograph, write, and play board games. Aleksa is so excited to join Glorify for this 2023/24 season!
