Hannah Long

CORPS DE BALLET

Hannah Long started dancing at the age of 3 at North Jersey School of Dance Arts. When she was six, she joined the youth ballet company called New Jersey Civic Youth Ballet. While in the company, she performed various leading roles in the Nutcracker every year and often performed a role more than once. Hannah also performed leading roles in American Sampler (Slaughter on Tenth Avenue), Alice in Wonderland, Wizard of Oz, and Pinocchio. During her teen years, she was awarded many dance scholarships, and when she was 15, she made it into the Finals of the World Ballet Competition, where she performed on stage in Florida. In 2018, she became a substitute teacher and enjoyed her time teaching young people how to dance and express themselves. Hannah furthered her training at the college of American Musical and Dramatic Academy in LA, where she was given lead roles in the dance theatre projects. During her time in LA, she felt God leading her to dance in a Christian company, but she did not know when or how that would happen. Hannah followed the leading of the Lord, which took her to London, England, where she did both the arts and missionary work. She later received a Certificate in Theology at Reformation Bible College in Florida. She is excited to be a part of Glorify Dance Theatre for the 2022-2023 season!
